Weeks Away and Weeks Off

Two weeks in Door County, and the week prior, were enough to set me back a wee bit. DC week 1 was good, in terms of training, with on-location training pals Peanut and Jelly to push the motivation. The week prior was spent packing, and DC week 2 was just full of laziness, a busted tire, and no close swim location. I effectively took a week off, and then some. Take a look at the Google Calendar and you'll see what was done, and what wasn't--lots of skips there. Below are the planned totals for each of the three weeks and what was actually accomplished.

Prelude: June 16-22
Expected S: 3250 Completed S: 1250
B: 55 B: 28
R: 17 R: 8.28

DC Week 1: June 23-29
Expected S: 2000 Completed S: 800
B: 35 B: 31
R: 16 R: 13

DC Week 2: June 30-July 6
Expected S: 1500 Completed S: 0
B: 40 B: 0
R: 14 R: 1.5

With just under 3 weeks until Bix, 4 weeks until Crossroads, and 7 weeks until Chicago, I've got my work cut out for me. No problem.

Hang in there brother! I know how you feel. With Kids and vacation and the father duties that we have to uphold, training can really take a dive anytime.

The best thing, if we want to look at the positive side of things, no lasting injuries for me and no injury for you.

this is good! stay healthy and we will go from there.
